Shopping is often referred to as ‘retail therapy’ well now it can be good for the hospice too. The following is a range of ideas which will generate vital income for the hospice and may not involve any additional cost to you.

Gift choice 1 - £10 Something Smelly!

A classic Christmas gift is a box set of lotions and potions to make you smell divine and feel relaxed. At Harris HospisCare we provide complementary therapy for patients to help make them feel special too. Your donation of £10 will help pay for the oils to make this possible.

Gift choice 2 - £20 Birthday Cake

An essential part of any birthday celebration is a Birthday Cake. We will ensure that all the patients attending the day hospice on their birthday will not only receive a Birthday Cake but also all the other essential elements to make their day special. A donation of £20 will help us provide this.

Gift choice 3 - £30 Comfy Slippers

Having a much needed complementary therapy session can be as wonderful as wearing a new pair of comfy slippers. Our friendly therapists regularly visits the day hospice to treat any patients who are would like to relax in this way. A donation of £30 will pay for one patient to have this essential treatment.

Gift choice 4 - £50 Specialist Stockings

Specialist stockings are vital to help manage the painful swelling of limbs affected by Lymphoedema. This life-long condition cannot be cured but much can be done to alleviate symptoms. A donation of £50 would pay for a typical stocking required.

A donation of any amount will help us to continue providing vital care to dying people and their families throughout Bromley.

Travel

Utility Bills

Utility Warehouse Discount Club can provide your gas, electric, home phone, mobile phone, broadband and cashback card on just one bill. If you switch some or all of your utilities to Utility Warehouse you will be generating a donation to Harris HospisCare each and every time you pay your monthly bill. 

Ebay

Did you know that you could donate to Harris HospisCare when you sell items on Ebay? All you need to do is decide what percentage of the sale price you wish to donate and complete the instructions when listing the item. The benefit to you is that your Ebay listing fee will be reduced by the same percentage as your chosen donation. Buyers may also be encouraged to buy from you due to your charitable nature!
