Harris HospisCare is seeking classic car enthusiasts to take part in their new classic car fundraising event. The event called The Harris Sunday Run will take place on Sunday 28th September, starting and finishing at the stunning Penshurst Place & Gardens in Tonbridge.

Drivers will set off for an idyllic 100 mile round trip, stopping off at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex for a handmade picnic, a chance to visit the 15th century castle and wander around the carefully maintained Elizabethan gardens before returning to Penshurst Place for afternoon tea and a prize giving ceremony.

The event is open to all motoring enthusiasts but it is hoped that as many classic car owners as possible will enter the event.

Events Fundraiser, Augusta Adu said "We are really excited about this new fundraising event. It will be the ideal opportunity for drivers to see and be seen with their classic cars at two beautiful venues. The route will be a good mix of fast roads and quiet country lanes with the dramatic Kent and East Sussex countryside as a back drop."

The charity is aiming to raise £12,000 to expand their care services.
