Yes, if the item is faulty we will provide a refund. Just take the item back to the shop you purchased it in together with your receipt.
If I buy something at a Harris HospisCare shop and later decide I don’t want it, can I bring it back for a refund?
Please be sure of your purchase before you pay as we will be unable to refund.
How does Harris HospisCare set prices? You get your stock donated for free, so why are you charging £10 and more for some items?
The Shop Manager and volunteers set all the stock prices. They also have an eye for valuable and rare items and these may be sold on Ebay to ensure we fetch their true value. We are very lucky to receive high quality donated goods and therefore want to ensure we thank those donors by achieving the best price on every single item sold.
What kind of donations is Harris HospisCare looking for?

What does Harris HospisCare do with unsold stock?
Sometimes items are not suitable for sale, perhaps because they do not meet legal requirements or they are damaged. Unsaleable clothing, shoes and other textiles have to be disposed of through waste disposal schemes. We have pay for waste disposal so we are keen to reduce our costs by recycling where possible. You can help us by checking that your donated items are in good saleable condition
Help! I put my favourite shirt with my donation by mistake. Can I get it back?
Please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to get your item back to you.
Can Harris HospisCare collect my donation?
We can collect large items of furniture, please contact the Locksbottom shop to make arrangements.
Can you reclaim gift aid on goods donated to Harris HospisCare shops?
We are in the process of setting up a system to allow this to happen. We will trial it in one shop first to test the process, then later introduce to the all the shops.
