Harris HospisCare at Home nurses work alongside the patient's GP offering symptom control advice and helping patients and families to adjust to their situation.  Out of working hours, nurses are on call for advice and support to patients, families and healthcare professionals. It is also possible for patients to be visited during the evening or night hours to make sure that the best help is available at the right time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This service makes it possible to bring freedom from anxiety to patients and their families with the knowledge that Harris HospisCare is always there to help when needed.

The service is staffed by skilled nurses, doctors, a social worker, a welfare officer, as well as a nurse manager and administration staff.

Harris HospisCare cares for over 180 patients at any one time, in the comfort and security of their own homes.
