In 2008/09 :

• our nurses made more than 2,700 visits to support dying people and their families in their own homes
• we visited 455 new patients
• there were around 1,500 attendances at our Day Unit
• we supported district nurses by training them in the use of syringe drivers
  our nurses offered training to local care homes.
